My tiny leprecaun is nine months new.
As of this month he weighs 20.7 lbs,
is 28.5" tall, and has an 18" head.

This month's page is going to be a little different.
I was very busy with work and too tired to record my
little guy's accomplishments by date, so instead I'm
just going to list them. This list will then be followed
by a few different picture stories (which tend to tell
more than I can put into words anyway.)

But first, a little something I wrote in response to a
scholarship application's request that I "Tell about a
moment or person that inspired [me] to make a change or
expand [my] life goals."

To my very own lucky Irishman:

On the day that I met him he was invisible to me,
and I to him, though his presence I most assuredly felt.
I had been told long ago that he was an impossibility -
that no one like him would ever come into my life. So
imagine my surprise when, twelve years later, I found him
there, curled up inside of me, making my body his home. From
that moment on he began working his way into my heart until,
eventually, he had become a part of my very soul. For months
we existed as one, caught up in an inexorable journey of
discovery and growth. During that time I was granted an
occasional glimpse of his physical form, though to him I
remained just a voice and a heartbeat, a dark, warm shelter
in which to swim. Then, the day finally arrived when we were
able to meet face-to-face...on June 3, 2005 at the precise
moment of 6:26 p.m. the person who has and will always be my
greatest source of inspiration was born into my life - my son, Palmer.

Palmer's Accomplishments

During the month of March Palmer worked very hard at growing.
He practiced his walking almost daily, until the last half of the
month when Mama had to re-motivate him with a little hand-holding
encouragement. I think the little guy just got tired of falling
on his butt (can you blame him?) He also learned to express his
desire to be picked up by holding his arms straight up in the air
and moving both of his hands in a "come here" motion. And Palmer
got his sixth tooth this month...a bottom tooth that's on the
right of the bottom front teeth that he grew in December. And, last
but not least, we discovered that Palmer loves pickles...a lot :)!

Now for the pictures...
