At this point my social circle was a little limited, but I had lots of loving family members to keep me company. There were my cousins Jay and Samantha, and my Aunt Heather, though I really only saw them on holidays and my Mommy, Big Mama and Poppy. Them I saw all the time. I was usually only with my Mommy during the day and late at night, when I woke up from hunger or sickness. Big Mama and Poppy took care of me during the evening six days a week so that Mommy could go to night school full-time and work a part-time job, or just so she could work - before she had enrolled in school.
