Palmer is seven months new... My tiny tot has made my new year the happiest ever... January 3, 2006 Palmer made noises by putting his mouth on my arm and blowing. When I giggled he did too and then he did it again :)! January 5, 2006 Palmer climbed down all three stairs feet first today. My little guy is on the move :)! He also held his own bottle for the first time, too. He's so cool :)... January 8,2006 Little Mr. Independent decided to get up and go find someone when he awoke from his naps today, instead of just lying in bed and crying. I love the assertiveness and drive. The first time he did it was while Big Mama was babysitting, but the next time was at 2 a.m. Big Mama said that while she was watching Palmer tonight he tried to crawl in between a table and a cabinet to get to one of his toys. Unfortunately the poor little guy got stuck. Introducing Mr. Curious January 9,2006 So, I'm thinking my son's very first word may actually be "poop!" At around 2 a.m. after doing the deed he said, somewhat tentatively, "pooop." I cracked up laughing! January 16,2006 My little Boogie Butt bobs his head to music - just like the Rooster that he is. Big Mama, Poppy, and I get the biggest kick out of making him do it all day long - and he seems to be liking it too *lol* January 20,2006 When I gave Palmer a bath today he discovered the joys of splashing water. He had fun :). January 30,2006 Palmer has a new smile - I call it his "shit-eating grin." (Unfortuantely he doesn't hold it long enough for me to catch it on film.) That boy is really something!
