Blue Moon Candle

Needed:
Blue candle
Jasmine oil
Vase of blue or white (moon) flowers
Moonstone jewelry
Dress in a blue dress or nightgown; wear any Moonstone jewelry
that you have; work in the planetary hour of the Moon. You can
find out any planetary hour by clicking here.
Carve the date of the blue moon and your initials into the candle.
Anoint the blue candle with the Jasmine oil fro bottom to top. Picture
blue lights shimmering around you, as you work. Place the candle in
a moon holder, if you have one, and light it. As you stare at
the flames say:
“Blue moon you’re here,
Your blue (or white) flowers are near.
I honor you phase with color bright
And ask for loving peace this night.”

Blue Moon Magick

Once in a blue moon, you come our way,
Once in a blue moon, bless this day.
Time for wishes, and dreams out of reach,
Love for others, peace, we must teach.
Blue moon we have seen you twice this year,
It seems we have “wishes” and “blessings” to spare.
Lord and Lady you have given much,
Your beauty abounds, our life deeply touched.
My wish is for others, in pain and in war,
Let their weapons turn to roses, my Gods, I implore!
Fragrance of love, to their hearts let it reach.
Filling with hope, their fingers to feet.
Hand of the Goddess, three times three,
“Blue moon wishes” for all, so mote it be!

All ye assemble at mine shrine,
Mother Darksome and Divine.
Mine the Scourge and mine the Kiss,
Here I charge you in this sign.
All ye assembled in my sight,
Bow before my spirit bright,
Aphrodite, Arianrhod,
Lover of the Horned God.

In token that ye be really free.
I teach ye the mystery of rebirth,

Mother, Goddess of moon and star,
Bring your presence from afar,
Manifest on this, your night.
And bless me in this sacred rite,
Grant the knowledge and clarity
To understand your words to me.
Lend your power send your light,
Assist me in my work tonight.
With love and wisdom, please embrace
All within this sacred space.
