Lover's Branch Spell
To enhance love.
|
Needed for the creation of a sacred, magickal love bower:
Love incense
Pink and green candles
A sturdy tree limb that branches out in at least 3 directions,
no less than 2-feet long (can be longer or fuller, if desired)
(Use a branch that has already fallen, or cut a fresh one, but be sure
to get the tree’s permission first, and to thank it in a sacred manner.)
Some bells
A wicker tray or plate
An apple, hazelnuts, acorns and feathers from a songbird
A vase or container to hole the branch fairly upright
Before the spell, spray-paint the branch with either silver or gold (or a
combination of both). Silver represents the feminine moon, and gold
represents the masculine sun.
On a night when you intend to make love, gather the items and lay them on the bed.
Decide where in the room you will display the bower, and prepare the place as you see
fit. Cast a circle that is the size of the bedroom. Burn love incense, and light pink
and green candles, one on each side of the bed. Get into bed together and sit facing
each other, holding hands. Meditate for a few moments on your love for each other.
Breath deeply and rhythmically with each other.
When you are ready, take the branch and hold it together, charging it with your love.
Then, each of you kiss the branch. Hold, charge, and kiss all of the other items, one
by one, as well.
As part of the charging ceremony, you might wish to express, in your own words, to each other,
or to the God or Goddess, the following sentiments:
The branch represents the Tree of Life.
The bells and bird feather bring magickal songs
that will put you and your lover into a timeless
state, a state you wish would go on forever.
The apple is the fruit of love.
Hazelnuts are to bring wisdom into your relationship.
Acorns will make your love for each other strong and enduring.
Fasten the bells and feathers onto the branch, and place it in the vase.
Then, put it into its prepared place in your room. Next, arrange the apple,
acorns and nuts on the tray, and place it beneath the branch. Retire to the bed
and make love. Then, place the candles next to the branch and eat the apple. When
you’ve finished, open the circle.
Leave the sacred branch and the tray of nuts and acorns in your bedroom for as long
as you see fit. When you decide to remove it, do so in a sacred manner. Burn the
branch, leave the nuts and acorns in the woods or a park for the animals, and give the
bells to children to play with, or use for a decorative purpose.

Love Cake Spell
|
Bake, for the man of your dreams, using:
Cake mix with
A pinch of edible rose petals
1 t cinnamon and
Spring water that has absorbed the energy
of the full moon overnight.
As you add the ingredients to the cake mix, say,
“A drop of moon blood,
A pinch of rose,
Add cinnamon to please his nose.”
Bake the cake.
As you remove the cake from the oven, repeat, three times,
“With each bite, we two entwine,
This spicy cake will make him mine.”
Then, serve the man you baked it for a nice, big slice!

Honey Spell
To perk up grumpy lover.
|
Needed:
1 apple
5 T honey
A knife
An earthenware bowl
A pink candle
Carve your lover’s name in the apple and place it in the bowl
and pour honey over it. Then, chant,
“Cerridwen grant me my heart’s delight,
Make him sweeter bight by night.”
Then, put the apple in a sacred place, burn the candle for 7 nights
in a row at 7 p.m. for 7 minutes at each burning. On the 7th night, let
it burn out. As the flame is flickering out, say,
“Cerridwen grant me my heart’s delight,
Make him sweeter night by night.
The honey drops from my lips,
He drinks my love in luscious sips.”
Put the honey on your lips or body before making love.

Love Feasts
Feasts can also be prepared to
accomplish other goals.
Create an enchanting atmosphere with ingredients and magickal objects
to work the particular magick on the guest of honor.
Dress the table with pink or green, the colors of Venus, the planet of love.
The centerpiece should consist of the flowers of love.
Scent the room with the aroma of a love potion of philter made with rose and
strawberry oils. Dab it on candles, mix it into a potpourri, rub it onto the edge
of a wooden table, and put a few drops on a ribbon and hang it from a door. Boil
a few drops in water on the stove to vaporize the room.
Mix several drops of love potion into your bathwater and add it to your perfume.
Make dishes that incorporate the herbs, flowers, fruits and vegetables of love.
Remember to magickally charge each ingredient in a magick circle with the energy
of your aura before you prepare the meal.

Love Budding Spell
Anytime after the winter solstice, clip a few branches of forsythia,
or other early budding plants such as flowering quince, winter sweet,
witch hazel, pussy willow, or winter cherry. Always prune the plant
from below and behind so you don’t cut any new growth or ruin the shape
of the bush. Bring the branches inside and strike the stem ends with a
mallet or hammer to crack the bark and open the cells to draw up water
more efficiently. Then place them in a vase of water on your altar.
Cast a circle. Charge the branches with your energy then, say,
“By stem, and by bud,
By leaf, and by flower,
Bring me a love
In the perfect hour.”
Recite this at least 9 times, with a strong intention that with the
blossoming of each of the branch’s blooms love will grow within you and
burst forth into the lives of others because of you. By making love flower
in other people’s lives we open ourselves to receive it in return. Have
perfect faith and confidence that the Goddess will send you a lover at the
appropriate time, and that he or she will be the right person for you.

Love Box Spell
|
You will need:
A special box (one you find beautiful,
handsome, stunning, or with some particular
charm that suggests romance to you. You can
also use a box that you’ve decorated yourself
with images and symbols of love.)
1 red candle
1 black candle
glue
When the moon is full, begin a quest to find love objects for your box.
These will be personal symbols of love, sex, romance, relationship. When
you have collected 9 objects, charge them to neutralize unwanted energies,
and infuse them with your own personal love energy. Place the items into
the box on your altar, or in another magickal space. Light the candles.
Pick up each item individually in your left hand, and visualize love
flowering in your life. Think and feel the strongest thoughts and
emotions you have experienced when you were in love.
Glue each of the items into the box so that it stays in place. This is
an old binding custom to express stability and your desire for a lasting
relationship. However, if glue would damage the object, just lay it in the
box. Let your feelings guide you as to where to place the items, and how to
arrange them. If you have a particular person in mind, place a photo of them
in the box, along with one of your own.
When you’ve finished place the box in a magickal spot in your home. Every now
and then, open the box, as your would a treasure chest, letting the energy of the
love objects drift upward toward you. You might even waft them up toward your
face as you would the smoke from incense, and inhale deeply, allowing the energy
to flood your entire body. As you find other objects, charge them and ritually
add them to the collection.
