Moonbath Spell
For men and women to attract a lover to their beauty.
Prepare the tea on a Monday, Tuesday, or Friday, during a waxing moon.
Best Times for casting:
1. Friday, Full Moon in Taurus
2. Friday with a Full Moon or the Full Moon after your birthday (regardless of the day)
Perform the spell 3 hours before the moon is full.
Place a full length mirror (or a mirror tilted so that you can see your
entire being, in it) near a window where the moonlight enters. Take a long,
leisurely ritual bath using:
For Women:
1 drop rose oil
10 drops patchouli oil
1 t sea salt
dried rose petals
For Men:
Use a ritual bath appropriate to the Horned God
Play soothing, magickal music.
Wash your hair. Then, slip into something sheer and long, or wrap yourself
in a sheet and make up your face. Light 3 candles – one each of silver, white,
and light blue. Stand or sit in front of the mirror. In your mind’s eye,
visualize the Goddess Venus dwelling within your body. See her beauty permeate
your aura. See her love shine out from your eyes. For several minutes study the
various ways in which her presence manifests in you. Then, drop the gown or sheet,
and stand naked in the moonlight. Enjoy the sight of your own body’s beauty, for
it is the Goddess in you, just as strongly as she is in everyone and everything.
Then, invoke her beauty with these words, so that others see her within you”
“Goddess of Beauty, Goddess of Night,
Mold my body into a bountiful sight.
Give my hair luster, short or long,
Give my voice the sound of song,
Eyes that swallow and drink his love,
Hands that caress, soft as a dove.”
Snuff out the candles to illuminate your body solely by moonlight. See the
you who are the Goddess of Love and Beauty. Hold this image in your mind as
ou crawl into bed and allow her to be with you as you fall asleep.
Men say,
“God of Wild Things, God of the Wood,
Teach me the ways to quest for the good.
Strengthen my body, deepen my song,
Sharpen my vision, both steadfast and strong.

Love Totem Spell
|
You will need:
A plant hanger for the ceiling
Enough drapery cord to tie onto the
ceiling hook and knot 9 times, still
having enough left to lie on the floor.
Love Potion
Love stones
Gather love objects that you can sew or tie onto the cord or place on the floor
beneath it, such as a picture of 2 lovers, a stature of a love Deity, dried flowers,
an old love letter, feathers, sprigs of herbs in pouches, Valentine’s cards, etc.
Place all of the items you’ve collected in front of you, go into alpha, and spend
a few moments recalling the following romantic adventure as if it had really happened
to you in the past, or in an earlier life:
The sun is shining on a lush, flowery meadow. Far away on a hill you see a Gothic
castle and a romantic pathway leading up to it. You walk through the meadow, along
the path, picking flowers and herbs, watching butterflies, listening to the sweet
song of birds. A beautiful white horse gallops up to you out of nowhere, nudges
your shoulder, inviting you to climb up and go for a ride. You mount the horse
bareback, grab the thick, silky mane, and off it runs up the path to the castle.
The horse’s hooves clop and echo on the drawbridge, and you enter a festive courtyard.
Your lover stands in an archway across the yard, with arms outstretched, and smiles,
so happy to see you. You jump off the horse and run over, throw your arms around each
other, and embrace with the exquisite intensity of joy, passion, comfort, and
unconditional love. These feelings tingle throughout your entire being.
When the power of this memory is strong, tie the first knot in the end of the cord
as a loop in the top to hang on a hook. As you tie each successive knot, hold the
feeling of your lover’s embrace in your mind and heart, and see yourself tying that
sensation into the cord with each knot. After you have tied the remaining 8 knots,
begin to attach the items that you collected. The heaviest and largest objects should
either be placed on the floor, or attached near the bottom of the cord.
Then hang the cord from the ceiling, preferably in your bedroom. Add other objects
as they come into your life. Maintaining your love totem will help keep your mind and
heart filled with thoughts of love, without which it is hard to be a powerful lover.

Lover's Breastplate
To protect your lover while you are apart.

You will need:
A piece of parchment
Or
A special stone
Or
A cord, long enough to tie 8 knots into and still
tie around your lover’s wrist, ankle, or neck.
Use this spell, or compose your own:
“I bind unto my love today
The mysteries of the starlit night,
The glorious sun’s life-giving rays.
The powers of the moon so bright,
The lightning’s magick quick and free,
The whirling winds tempestuous shocks,
The stable earth, the deep salt sea,
Around the old eternal rocks.”
Either write the above spell onto the parchment, charge it as it is
and then, give it to your lover to carry on their journey, or go into
alpha and speak the spell into the special stone, also giving it to your
loved one to carry with them. If using a cord, bind the 8 elements of the
spell into the cord with a knot of its own. Then, tie the cord loosely
around your lover’s wrist, ankle, or neck for them wear while away.

Lover's Taboo
To discover and evaluate the taboos in a relationship.
To strengthen your ability to live up to your relationship’s taboos.
To begin, journey to visit your Inner Partner. When you are in his or
her presence, remain silent for a few moments, collecting your thoughts
and allowing the magick of this realm to truly alter your consciousness
onto a mystical level. Then, when you feel comfortable, at ease, and ready
to learn, state your reason for coming. Ask,
“What is my geis? What is it
I must not do to risk losing _________?”
Let your Inner Partner speak to you in ways appropriate for him or her.
Be prepared for a flood of taboos. A swarm of dos and don’ts, hopes and
fears, expectations and apprehensions, may come flocking out. Ask your
Inner Partner to help you sort them out. Knowing which prohibitions aren’t
really love-threatening is as important as knowing which ones are, so don’t
be impatient if the dialogue centers primarily on taboos that seem frivolous.
This may not be an easy journey, for you are in effect asking to know how you
can lose your lover. Such knowledge can be difficult to learn, but it’s better
to know this than to stumble into it unawares. When you’ve finished talking
over the taboos, ask if there’s a spell or ritual you can perform to strengthen
your ability to honor the taboo, on a magickal level. Your Inner Partner may give
you a spell or tell you to weave one on your own.
When finished, return to ordinary consciousness.
Several ways to root your commitment in the physical realm:
1) Find and charge a special stone to carry with you as a reminder
of the important obligations to your lover.
2) Tie a knot in a cord for each of the most important taboos you want
to honor. 3) Place spring water outdoors on the night of a full moon and
ask the Goddess to enter the water through the moonlight, and charge it
with her strength. Drink some of the water each day, or at times when
you feel the need to.
It may be awkward, but look for a time to discuss what you have learned, and how,
with your lover. You could suggest your lover journey to her or her Inner Partner,
as well, to help you to both better understand each other’s taboos and to honor them.

Magickal Caption
It can be fun to give a photograph of yourself to your lover with
a caption written on it in a magickal alphabet. The gift works its
magick spell as the lover translates the caption into English.

The Mirror Image
This spell is to create a bond between you and your lover.
For this love spell using image magick you will need a small, mirrored surface,
which you have mentally cleansed and charged to hold the image of your desire.
During a waxing Moon, burn 3 pink or red candles while you anoint the rim of your
mirror with a love oil.
Project the image you wish to capture in your mirror onto
its surface. If you do this while also seeing the reflection of the Moon, all the
better. Cover the mirror until you are with the one you love, then ask your lover
to look into the mirror with you to capture your images in the glass at the same
time – letting your lover know the reason for his or her participation. Cover it
again until you are alone, and gaze into the mirror some time before dawn, “seeing”
the captured image of your loved one. Cover it again and place it somewhere safe
to bind your love to you.
