Folk Magick Protection Spell
On a Saturday, take a wooden clothes pin and color it black, then wrap
a small piece of the person’s clothing around it. Sprinkle the pin with
black pepper. As you wrap it all up with a piece of cloth, and tie it
with black thread, say:
“Be gone (name), be gone from me.
For I have cast this spell on thee.
It is my right to now be free.
The spell is done, so mote it be!”
Repeat the words as you bury the bundle far away from your home.

Bottle Spell
Used to neutralize the power of those who intend to do you physical harm,
hurt your reputation, or in any way pose a threat to your security.

You will need:
4 T frankincense or myrrh
4 T black powdered iron (available
at pottery store that sell ironstones)
4 T sea salt
4 T orrisroot powder (or oak moss)
1 white candle
1 bottle with a cork or lid
Mortar and pestle
Parchment paper
Black ink or a ballpoint pen
Black thread
Combine the sea salt, orrisroot, and iron into the mortar and grind
them fine, with the pestle Cut a piece of parchment to fit inside of
the bottle and write on it, with the black ink,
“I neutralize the power of ________ to do me any harm.
I ask that this be correct and for the good of all.
So mote it be.”
Roll up the parchment, tie it with the black thread, to bind it, and
place it in the bottle. Fill the bottle with the dry ingredients.
Light the white candle and, while turning the bottle counterclockwise,
drip wax over the cork or lid to seal it. Secretly bury the bottle
where no person or animal will dig it up.
This spell is like a genie in a bottle. If it should ever be unleashed,
or the power of the spell will be lost.

Safe Car Travel Spell
Speak this spell after you and your passengers have buckled your
seat belts, before a trip in your car:
“Mercury and Isis, winged god and rainbow goddess, bless and protect
this car and all of its parts, its hood and engine, its tires and brakes.
Keep the birds and beasts and other critters at a safe distance, make
me a skilled and careful drive, and grant that we may safely reach our
destination. Circle of protection, one, two, three!”
As you speak, visualize three circles of blue light surrounding your
vehicle and traveling with it. Now act in accord by keeping your mind
focused on your driving and your hands on the steering wheel.

Fire Protection Circle

In privacy and complete darkness, light a candle.
Take a deep breath and stand as tall as you can.
Face east and raise the candle high above your head
for a moment. Bring the flame down to eye-level and
hold it there while you turn slowly deosil three
times. Concentrate your full attention on the blue
of the flame as you rotate in place. Raising the
candle high again, salute the east as you complete
the final circle. This erects a barrier through
which no evil thought can pass.

To protect your lover while you are apart.

You will need:
1 gold pentacle
1 piece of black velvet big enough to drape over
a jar, or 1 small black velvet drawstring bag.
A 1 qt glass jar
3-inches of thick, black cord
Go into alpha and hold the pentacle in your hand while saying,
“A golden ring around a star
Placed in black velvet and hung in a jar
Will keep you my love
When you are afar.”
Visualize your lover on your mind’s screen while reciting the
spell. Then suspend the pentacle from the silk cord so that it
dangles freely in the jar. Secure the cord with the lid, and
cover the jar with the black velvet cloth or bag, and hang it
close to the ceiling.
