Protective Shield
Go into alpha and, at your innermost level, envision a protective
shield around you that resembles an egg. It is clear, shining,
and crystalline. See it grow brighter and stronger around your
entire body until it is large enough to always be beyond the
reach of your fingertips, no matter in which direction you extend
your arms. When you see the egg-shaped shield clearly, repeat,
at least 3 times,
“This shield protects me from all positive and negative energy
and forces that come to do me harm.
I ask that this be done correctly and for the good of all.
So mote it be.”
Check and reinforce your shield regularly, until the danger has passed.

Home Protection Spell
To cast a spell to protect you home, during the waxing moon and
during the third hour after sunset, pick a few items of any
combination from the following herbs: dill, fennel, marjoram, mint,
mustard, mullein, mustard, rosemary, rue (if you are not allergic),
white heather, woodruff, and yarrow. Tie small bundles of these herbs
together with red thread and place on an altar. Touch the bundles
with a ritual knife, saying:
“I conjure thee, protective herbs,
on this day and in this house of Mars,
to be a protection and safeguard against
all adversity and evil.
Protect well this house and all who dwell within.
As I will, so mote it be!”
Hang one bundle in each room of your home.

House of Life
An Egyptian spell to rid the home of bad spirits.

You will need:
Salt
Rosemary oil
Sage oil
Olives
A bowl of spring water
A long piece of white ribbon
Method:
Each person taking part should first cleanse themselves by
taking a bath containing 7 drops of their favorite oil and a
tsp of salt, the emblem of eternity and immortal life. Divide
the rosemary, sage, and olives (these are substitutes for olive
flowers, the flowers of peace) into four portions, and place a
portion in each corner of your home. Quietly put the spring
water in a bowl, and with your fingertips, sprinkle some in all
the rooms of your home. All those performing the spell should
stand in a circle around the remaining spring water. Pass the
ribbon in a circle around everybody, turn clockwise, and chant:
"You who enter, do not enter with ill feeling.
I have uttered these words over sacred herbs,
placed in all corners of our home,
and I have sprinkled each room with sacred water.
May it not be haunted by any spirit."

Kitchen Protection Spell
Marjoram or wild oregano is believed to absorb dangerous negative
energies when powdered and sprinkled about the home. In Italy the
followers of Italian witchcraft or stregheria make this herb into a
tea and add it to the wash and scrub water to protect the home and
its inhabitants.
If you seem to be always burning or cutting yourself, try a "kitchen
accident" amulet. In a muslin bag, place a small kitchen knife, a
pinch of flour and a seashell, tie it to your apron or tuck it in a
pocket as you go about your kitchen duties.

Object Protection Spell
From Witchology
Use your index and middle fingers to trace a pentagram over the object
to be protected. Visualize electric-blue or purple flames streaming from
your fingers to form the pentagram. Say this as you draw:
"With this pentagram I lay
Protection here both night an day.
And the one who should not touch
Let his fingers burn and twitch,
I now invoke the law of three:
This is my will, so mote it be!"

Spell for Protection Against an Abusive Lover
|
2 candles (one white, one black)
2 silver pentacles
1 rose quartz, preferably set in jewelry
2 t dittany of Crete
2 T eyebright
Pinch of wolf’s hair (ask your local zookeeper for some)
2 feathers (one white, one black)
2 two-foot lengths of black cord or string
Protection Potion
Black Moon Potion
Parchment
Black Ink (or felt tip pen)
Ash Pot
Frankincense
Myrrh
Earthenware bowl
During a dark or waning moon, cast a circle. Anoint the candles with
both potions, placing black on the left and white on the right. While
anointing the black candle say,
“Give me power to neutralize any harm coming my way from anyone or anything.
So mote it be.”
While anointing the white candle say,
“I send your light to bind and neutralize anyone or anything that may bring me harm.
So mote it be.”
Burn the frankincense and myrrh in between the candles and say,
“I neutralize and make pure this sacred circle.”
Place the quartz, pentacles, dittany of Crete, wolf’s hair and eyebright into
the bowl and add a few drops of each of the potions to the mixture.
Write, on the parchment,
“My love does often bind
And does not keep clear of my mind,
To stop the pain, to break the chain
I neutralize those near
And keep love that’s dear.”
With your fingertip, put a drop of both potions on the paper and say the above,
out loud, holding the paper over the smoke of the incense. Then, burn the
parchment in the flame of the white candle and drop it into the ash pot when
it is too small to hold. When the fire goes out, put the ashes in the earthenware
bowl so that they touch the quartz and pentacles.
Hold the black feather in your left hand and pass it through the incense smoke, and say,
“Safety in love, fly to me.
Spirit of Feather, protect me.”
Hold the white feather in your right hand and passing it, too, through the smoke of
the incense, say,
“Send the message loud and strong that my love
knows no bounds except those of abusive anger.
Spirit of Feather, keep all harm from me.
So mote it be.”
Pass your hands over the bowl, saying,
“These enchanted things shall protect my loving nature from all harm.
So mote it be.”
You now have several talismans of protection to place in your home or car, or to
carry with you. Wear the quartz jewelry or put it in a pink bag and tie it to your
clothing. Put one pentacle on the black cord and wear it. Place the other somewhere
in your home. Keep the feathers on or near you. Keep the bowls and ashes near by,
as well. Then, seek help from friends, family and the authorities.
