Wishing Spell
The Bay Leaf possesses powerful magical properties and is used for
granting wishes. (Bay Leaves can be found at your local supermarket
in the fresh herbs and/or cooking herbs sections.)
You will need 3 bay leaves to perform this simple but effective
Wishing Spell.
When the moon is new, write your wish out on a piece of paper.
Now visualise your wish coming true.
Fold the paper into thirds and place 3 bay leaves inside.
Again, visualise your wish coming true.
Now, fold the paper into thirds once again and hide it away in a dark place.
Keep visualising your wish coming true as you do this.
Once the wish is granted, the paper should be burned as a thank you.
Never tell anyone your wish, as soon as you tell someone it will negate
the magick.

Inspiration Wishing Powder

Each of the herbs, essential oils and colors listed in this recipe were
chosen because they correspond to the values of Creativity, Dreams, Wishes,
and Luck. Use this powder to break out of ruts, attract the aid of the Muses
and give a creative push to any project.
Herbs:
Apple
Bay
Cherry
Essential Oils:
Jasmine
Lavender
Sage
Colors:
Blue
Silver
Violet
All wishing powders consist of three main ingredients – Dried Herbs,
Essential Oils, and colored Glitter or Confetti.
The glitter and confetti you choose to work with can be anything from tiny
silver stars to large purple hearts, large bottles of standard crafting
glitter to small pots of ultra-fine iridescent glittering powder, and even
colored wood shavings. I have found that when looking for ways to
incorporate color into your powders, there are literally hundreds of options
Try them all and find out what works best for you!
To create this powder, you will need to gather the following items:
The herbs, Essential Oils, colors listed above
A bowl for mixing (I recommend a plastic bowl with a lid since it is
much easier to shake a powder together than to stir)
Any measuring cups or spoons you prefer to use
A mortar and pestle to help break up large chunks of herbs
Once you have all your equipment ready, measure each ingredient into the
bowl. For your first few powders, I recommend using 1 Tablespoon of each
herb, 1 teaspoon of each glitter and/or confetti, and 1 drop of each
Essential Oil. You can easily customize your powders once you get the hang
of making them!
Next, cover your bowl tightly with its lid and shake vigorously until the
ingredients are well blended. To empower your magickal powder, visualize
what you would like the powder to accomplish – money in your bank account,
your perfect soul mate, or the excited face of your best friend when you
present her with a special birthday wishing powder, etc. Hold this image in
your mind at least until you have finished shaking. Ideally, you will be
thinking about this purpose throughout the whole creation process – from
gathering ingredients to packaging the finished powder, to give your magick
as much energy as possible.
To package your finished powder, you may measure it into small plastic
zipper bags, pour them into small glass vials or plastic tubes, or even
store them in the bowl you used to create them. The possibilities are nearly
endless! Just remember to label the powder once you've packaged it and
include a list of ingredients and instructions for use.

Another Wishing Spell

Light a white candle and say,
"As I light this candle, I invite God, Goddess
and the spirits and powers of the Elements: Earth, Air, Fire and
Water to attend and bless my spell"
Sit at a comfortable distance from the candle and look into the
candle light for a few minutes. Breathing deeply and rythmically.
And say,
"I wish I may, I wish I might,
I wish upon the candle light,
I wish (STATE YOUR WISH/DESIRE)."
Chant the above 3 times or as many times as I feel is warranted, then say,
"With the blessings of God, Goddess,
and the spirits and powers of
the Elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water
so my wish or something better shall be!
Thank you God, Goddess and the spirits
and powers of the Elements:
Earth, Air, Fire and Water
for your attendance and
continued blessings upon me."
Allow the candle to safely burn down completely.
Alternatively, you can snub the candle flame and repeat this spell
each day using the same candle.

Pet Wishing Spell

To begin, light a candle or start a fire in the fireplace.
Relax with your favorite pet, petting it and talking to it as
you do so. Then, humming a tune which has magickal meaning to
you, affix your eyes with your pet’s. With your mind, send forth
to your pet the image of the things you truly and honestly desire.
The subconscious of your little friend will amplify and send forth
your will and desire all the stronger. Afterwards, pet and cuddle
your animal friend, and offer it some food.

And Another Wishing Spell
On a windy day go outside taking a pen or marker with you.
Choose a green leaf that has already fallen off of a tree.
Write what you want to wish for on the leaf, kiss it and say,
"Of my will, so mote it be,"
and let the wind take the leaf away.
