Love Potion #1

2 C spring water
1 t basil
1 t vanilla extract
3 T salt
3 rose petals
an enamel pan
1 pink candle

Charge all of the ingredients in a magick circle.
Simmer for 2 minutes, while visualizing love coming
into your life, and see a pink aura in and around the
potion. Light the candle and project your thoughts for
love. When cool, tightly cap the potion in a bottle and
wear it to attract love into your life and use in love rituals.

Love Perfume
A personally charged potion to add to commercial scents,
or wear alone, to attract only those partners who are
good and correct for you.

Laurie Cabot’s favorite blend:

Ľ oz patchouli oil
˝ oz stryrax (benzoin oil)
Ľ oz lotus oil
Ľ oz heliotrope oil
Ľ oz orrisroot oil
Ľ oz olive oil

Charge the ingredients, mix the oil, and add to your favorite perfume.

Love Potion #3
Simmer any three of the following in 1 or 2 oz of spring water
with 1 T of sea salt to scent your home or perfume:

Cinnamon
Apple
Cloves
Lovage root powder
Yarrow flowers
Strawberry oil
Patchouli oil
Musk

You can also add a few drops to your lover’s belongings.
Even though the scent will fade, the magick will last
for the traditional four days.

Love Potion #4

During a waxing moon, place one level cup of your favorite lotion
into a clean 8 oz. jar, and add:
a tsp. of vanilla extract
3 drops of jasmine oil
2 tsp. of grated lemon peel
Ľ tsp. ground cinnamon
and 1 or 2 drops of nutmeg or anise oil

Blend the lotion with your fingers while visualizing your magickal goal.
Rub your clean body with the lotion before you go out to find a new romance.
As you rub in the lotion say:

“I prepare myself to find romance.
I seek my partner in eternal dance.
Love and romance, where I may be,
I seek to find and draw to me.”

Cat Piotion

A pinch of cat fur
2 C spring water
2 T catnip
2 T hellebore
2 T frankincense
2 T myrrh
2 T vervain
1 gray candle

Charge all of the ingredients in a magick circle.
Simmer the herbs in the water for 2 minutes, while
visualizing your chosen cat or the general spirit of
cats. Allow yourself to be a cat, the hunter, playful,
loving, haughty, etc. See the angel Hariel, protector of
domestic animals, in and around the potion. Light the candle
and project your feelings of familiarity and thoughts for
guidance into the potion. When the p0otion has cooled, bottle
it and cap it tightly, and wear it when performing Cat Magick.
